CONCEPTION (eesti keeles)

In Pärnu Contemporary Music Days 2007 continues discussion about main stream of contemporary music: modernism. In addition to existing themes profound concentration (analysis and history of modern music, connections of music with different fields of science and art) start with the new theme domains, what interweaves modern music, theatre and visual arts. For the one example is Mauricio Kagel’s (*1931) music theatre works.

Lectures, concerts, workshops, exhibitions, discussions, performances, common listening and watching of music theatre works are taking place.

In Pärnu Contemporary Music Days also is planned the introducing program for grammar school pupils.

Contemporary Music Days materials are published by a Scripta Musicalia.
